The Smart Rating is scored out of 100 and factors in a book's average user review, number of best seller list appearances and its average critic rating. It also includes the number of user and critic reviews, as well as the number of editions released and the number of awards it has received. Books are ranked based on their Smart Rating, meaning the book with the highest Smart Rating takes the top spot.
